Blog posts competition full terms and conditions
Introduction
- Digivate Ltd “Digivate” has invited you the ‘blogger’ to include our clients links in new original posts on your blog.
- In submitting including our clients in your posts and submitting your entry to us you are agreeing to the terms outlined below.
- The ‘term’ of all blog posts posted and submitted to us is defined as the life-time of your blog.
Blog Eligibility
- Digivate only accept independent bloggers not corporate websites.
- Blogs should be written in English.
- Blog posts must be original
- Blogs entering must not contain posts that contain nudity, references to sex, violence, racial intolerance, or drugs (legal or illegal). Only good honest, law abiding, informative and relevant blogs should enter.
We won’t use blogs with:
- Blogs with “nofollow” or “noindex” tags
- Feed based or copied content blogs where the content is made up from other site content.
- Digivate at its sole discretion reserves the right to refuse an entry from any blog or blogger.
Post Rules
- You can only enter 1 post per day.
- Each post must contain at least two links to our a Digivate client as defined in the ‘Topics page’.
- No part of the post can be blocked by another on-page element. All the content must be readable.
- The date of the post must be the date posted and post no time alterations are allowed.
- Write it yourself and never use software to help generate a post.
- Posts are left on your site for the lifetime of the site and must not be deleted after the competition expires. If you do delete the post, you agree to refund in full any money paid to you by Digivate. The terms of posts is therefore the lifetime of the blog.
- Posts are filed in clearly marked date folders that correspond to the true posting date. This archive is accessible from the homepage.
- Neither Digivate nor its clients is responsible for the content published or the links used within each post. All responsibility for your blog resides with you the blogger.
Prize details
- Prizes are: one 8GB Apple iPod Touch plus $100 Amazon Voucher
- OR the 8GB Apple iPhone (Offered for US citizens only)
- There are no cash alternatives to the prizes offered
- Winners of the are determined by the post which has received the most number of Votes on www.Digg.com
- In the event of a tie, the number of buried votes in Digg are also counted.
BlogPot Details
- The BlogPot value is determined by the number of valid post entries.
- Each entry will increase the value of the BlogPot by $5.
- The BlogPot will be paid to the best blog post as judged by our panel of directors and clients at the end of the competition.
- The winning entry will be judged on the viral impact of the post.
Payment
- We will pay you the agreed fee to your email account once your post passes the above guidelines and has been submitted to www.digg.com.
Disputes
- Any disputes will be dealt with fairly and quickly, although Digivate’s decision is final.
