Digivate BlogLinks

Welcome to a new way of Blog Sponsorship. We've created a way for you to make money from your blog unlike any other on the market.

Why is it different? It's an intelligent way to add advertisers links across your site. Easy to install and low maintenance - all you have to do is run the program to start making serious money from your blog.

How does it work? It's a wordpress plug-in that adds a randomly generated text link sentence to the bottom of each blog. The set of sentences you get will be relevant to your blog and looks more natural and less intrusive than ways to monetize your blog.

Who are we? Digivate has a long history in designing, building, integrating and promoting ecommerce websites for leading brands - and now we're dedicated to the blogging community too.

Online marketing seminars for IFAs

Monday, September 10th, 2007

IFA Life is set to host a series of online marketing and technology seminars, it has been announced.

The full-day seminars will take place at a range of locations around the UK.

IFA Life is a social networking and online business resource for financial advisers.

The ways in which independent financial advisers can exploit the internet will be discussed.

Areas of focus will include raising business profile online, building credibility and trust, eliciting greater loyalty from clients and generating new income streams, Mortgage Solutions reports.

Philip Calvert, founder of IFA Life, said: “There’s no doubt that a great many IFAs have not viewed the internet as something that has much relevance in their businesses - but they’re coming round in droves to the idea that it can not only add value to their client proposition but also create value in their businesses.”

Established in May 1999, Mortgage Solutions was the first magazine for mortgage intermediaries.

E-training “good news” for healthcare

Monday, September 3rd, 2007

Some 16,000 opticians and optometrists have successfully completed e-training programmes.

The General Optical Council (GOC) said that its Continuing Education and Training (CET) scheme had helped to improve patient care.

Peter Coe, registrar and chief executive of the GOC, said: “We are very proud of our CET system. Most other professional regulators operate a self-validated continuing education scheme, which we do not believe could ensure that every registrant has complied with their scheme requirements.”

Utilising online technology has significantly reduced overheads and enabled those taking part to more easily track their progress. The GOC is the first healthcare body to implement a web-based platform for recording and managing training activities.

Martyn Goodhand, chief executive officer of Vantage, praised the scheme. “The online nature of the training platform makes it easier to demonstrate a validated record of training, and this can only be good news for the healthcare sector and the public at large,” he said.
